Campaign Story
“Bridging Education Gap Project” works address the challenge of accessing quality early childhood education and vocational training for youths in rural Zimbabwe. The project has a Community Learning and Life Skills center for 150 disadvantaged children and families. Collective Efforts Trust (CET) has secured some land to set up a center in Goromonzi district, Zimbabwe. CET works with key stakeholders such as the government, local communities, NGOs, corporates and educational institutions. Further to providing knowledge and skills, counselling, life skills and mental health sessions will be provided to address holistic needs.
Establishing learning centres in rural Zimbabwe will increase access to quality education for 150+ families, break the cycle of poverty, foster community development, emotional resilience and promote lifelong learning. CET hopes to improve literacy rates, employment prospects, and living conditions in these communities. These centers serve as hubs for collaboration, support various services, and empower individuals, including youths and parents with vocational skills, stimulating economic growth and innovation.
