Campaign Story

The project’s aim is to send back 50 out of school girls into school through formal and non-formal education. FAWEZI will also purchase uniforms, stationery, sanitary pads, pay examination fees, and provide career guidance and mentorship to the girls. The project will be targeting girls who have dropped out of school due to pregnancy and other reasons that include lack of school and examination fees. Coaching on life skills and decision making will also be provided for them to strengthen resilience against the stigmatization of teen moms and school drop outs.

The project will empower the girls to be productive members of their families, communities, and society at large. It will increase their ability to fight poverty, reduce their chances of early marriage, pregnancies, and other vulnerabilities that come along with lacking education and information.
