Campaign Story

Intercessors for Zimbabwe (IFZ) is a non-profit making, interdenominational, para-Church prayer organisation that brings together Intercessors from different Church backgrounds to be united by prayer, in spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Intercessors for Zimbabwe is governed by a board of trustees

Intercessors for Zimbabwe was reorganized after the severe drought of 1992. IFZ has been involved in mobilizing the body of Christ to gather and pray for the nation of Zimbabwe. In 1998, on the 25 May, the first National Day of Prayer was held. Eversince, under the leadership of the late Reverend John Chimbambo, the body of Christ continues to gather to pray for the nation of Zimbabwe. After his passing on, the body of Christ continued to gather in prayer, in year 2021 and year 2022. Intercessors for Zimbabwe continues with the legacy of prayer, even as the body of Christ gathers every month to pray for the nation.
