Campaign Story

Mary ward Children’s home is a private voluntary organisation established in 1993 by Mary Ward’s sisters (Congregation Jesu, (CJ)) to give a friendly and family environment to the needy children. The institution protects children from all forms of abuse that incudes physical, sexual, emotional and neglect regardless of one’s gender, disability as well as ethnicity. The home accepts children with diverse background and these children are treated individually. The home works with and attributes a significant part of its success to several donors that include Higherlife Foundation.

Objectives

• To promote child welfare and create safe environments for children.
• Providing shelter for orphans and vulnerable children.
• Ensuring that children receive parental care, love, and guidance.
• Providing necessities such as food and clothes.
• Grooming children into responsible, independent and life skills-equipped adults.
• Providing a strong Christian base for our children.
• Facilitating children’s education and ensuring that they remain healthy.
