The Pamuhacha HIV and AIDS Prevention Project is dedicated to implementing HIV/AIDS prevention strategies, awareness programs, and support services. Its activities may include:
Conducting HIV/AIDS education and awareness campaigns to promote prevention methods such as safe sex practices, HIV testing, condom use, and reducing the stigma associated with HIV/AIDS.
Providing HIV testing and counseling services to encourage regular testing, early diagnosis, and linkage to treatment and care services for individuals living with HIV.
Distributing educational materials, resources, and information about HIV/AIDS prevention, treatment, and support services to communities and target populations.
Offering peer education and support programs for at-risk populations, including youth, women, men who have sex with men (MSM), commercial sex workers, and people who use drugs.
Collaborating with local healthcare providers, NGOs, community-based organizations (CBOs), and government agencies to strengthen the HIV/AIDS response, improve access to services, and advocate for policies that support HIV/AIDS prevention and care.
