Campaign Story

The project works to promote better livelihoods for 1000 Children in 6 villages between the ages of 3 and 10 years of age. The program will build and promote 6 Community based centres in rural Western Zimbabwe. Children from underprivileged families will learn life skills, basic literacy and numeracy skills as well as sporting activities .Phakama have worked with children from a poor financial background for more than 5 years. The organisation works to ensure that they become better leaders.

The project will bring together trained mentors and resources that will produce positive mindsets amongst young children. The reading materials and sporting activities will equip the children with life skills that are designed to make them ambitious and goal minded. Learning materials will also help the children understand their rights as a means for curbing child abuse.
