SEVACA is a community-based service organization, founded in the year 2000 by a group of Hlengwe-Shangaan women in the Sengwe area of Chiredzi District. Their mission is to provide social changes in backward rural communities and assistance from the effects of drought, harsh climate and the HIV and AIDS pandemic so that they can better support the challenges in orphans and vulnerable adults in Chiredzi district ward 15 and other demanding areas. SEVACA’s vision is to upgrade the lifestyles of vulnerable people and OVC through offering care services, advocacy, and community empowerment.
SEVACA has been providing primary and secondary school fees and nutrition aid to OVC and vulnerable children for some years hence those children who benefited are now school leavers and they need to be trained. The organization need to divert to skill training of OVC and vulnerable children.
