Campaign Story

The home was founded in 2012 and approved the same year. It started with 2 children and eventually the number grew. At present they have 14 children and all going to school from ECDA to Form 4. Some are at a boarding school which is extremely good in education, but expensive. The Home offers the children educational support, moral support and a loving and caring family environment whilst sustaining them physically, journeying with them in their life. They work with the the children to teach them practical life skills like farming in the Home’s small garden, along with cookery and poultry. The Home works to integrate the children into a family unit and strengthens the children in their faith.

Objectives

To promote child welfare through:
• Providing shelter for orphans and vulnerable children.

• Ensuring that children receive parental care, love, and guidance.

• Providing necessities such as food and clothes.

• Grooming children to responsible, independent and life skills equipped adults.

• Providing a strong Christian base for our children.

• Facilitating children’s education and ensuring that they remain healthy.
