Campaign Story
The Tariro Children’s Home started as a Community Based Organisation in Kadoma District, Mashonaland west Province in the year 2006. The Founder member being Mrs Magama. The Vision was to take care of the Orphans and vulnerable children in the district. Many children were disadvantaged through HIV/AIDs and abandonment of children due to domestic violence or parents being insane. The Tariro Children’s Organisation was registered in 2019. And the children’s home registered in 2021.
The Home now exist to give shelter, education and Health to the Orphans and vulnerable children.
Objectives
• Providing shelter for orphans and vulnerable children.
• Ensuring that children receive parental care, love, and guidance.
• Facilitating children’s education and ensuring that they remain healthy.
• Providing vocational skills training to orphans and vulnerable children
• Providing necessities such as food and clothes.
• Grooming children into responsible, independent and life skills-equipped adults.
• Providing a strong Christian base for our children.
