Campaign Story

Tekeshe’s goal is to empower orphans and underprivileged youth in the Chipinge district of Zimbabwe to reach their full potential through education, skill development, and leadership training.

They provide orphans and underprivileged youth with money for school uniforms, fees, and textbooks. The children also have caregivers who provide them guidance and counseling. Through the Youth Cares program the children are also provided with opportunities for leadership and personal development.

In the long run the Foundation hope to break the cycle of poverty and the reduction of HIV prevalence in the community by the development of well balanced citizens who have the leadership potential and skills to become self-sufficient and independent of outside help.
