Campaign Story

The Club has built 6 classrooms at Zvamaida Primary School and is currently sourcing school furniture. This includes desks and other moveable material. The school library is currently at foundation level and needs completing, which is the club’s next priority. After completion of the library the club aims to purchase solar panels and get electricity supply, more toilets and wash basins.

The Club works to encourage children to attend school and help the children have greater self-esteem, confidence and aspirations.

Over 300 children have access to a school that not only has 6 new classrooms, and a library, but also electricity, more toilet facilities and a learning environment that is more appropriate and conducive for learning. This will ensure higher attendance levels at the school and a more positive view towards the importance of education. The Club also wants to improve the health of the children through the benefits that come from decent sanitary facilities, especially for the girls.
