Vimbainesu children’s home is a small institution which was started by the Madzima family and was registered under social welfare in 1983. Mrs Madzima has been taking care of the home with the help of other family members and the community. There have been some donors like World vision who have been offering help to the home. Vimbainesu children’s home has the capacity of caring for up to 50 children.
Vimbainesu is a child centered organization which strives for the betterment of disadvantaged children’s life. The homework hand in hand with the Ministry of social welfare under the protection of children’s Act. The home operates in a rural environment but strives to provide an urban environment for the children under its care so much that they are in tandem with globalization and societal changes that have become the order of the day. Currently, the home is supporting 48 children 20 boys and 28 girls and is now running 4 projects – Poultry, Windmill, Piggery and Gardening.
